Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born in 1982) is an American actress famous for her character of Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS crime procedural drama series "CSI:NY," as Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama"Providence" and the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the"The Resident," a medical drama'. Her first major role in the series as Eleni andros Cooper on the CBS soap opera "Guiding Light" was also widely praised. Some of her notable films include '15 minutes' 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief', as well as "Snitch". The actress is reported that she is working on the film adaptation of Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography The Wheel of Life. The film was created by Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides.
